Is it just me or do the rest of you struggle like I do when it comes to these word verifications? I get all discouraged because I can't figure out what the freakin' thing says, which leads me to just give up on leaving a comment! I swear, 99% of the time, I cannot tell whether it's an o or a c or a f or a t that I'm supposed to type! Darn these word verifications!So really, is it just me?

I agree! It always takes me twice to guess it. When I do I feel like I just unraveled a mysterious code. What genious invented this!? And more importantly what is a fig pimp?? You know some guy is trying to play a joke on us! "Hmm maybe I will see if I can get them to type this word.."
No, I agree... I absolutely hate them! They are awful... sometimes there is a way to reset them until you get one you can read, but sometimes you cant! I often get so frustrated that I just forgo leaving the comment at all!
You just made my day! I am horrible at them, but I think they made it harder today! Earlier I had like three letters all smashed into one. The i and j kill me. I cannot tell!
I even hit the handicapped audio thing, but that utterly confused me. I guess I will just resign myself to having to type the letters in several times before I can make comments.
(by the way I so just thought I had it right, and now I'm having to do it again. sigh.)
Yes, I def agree- these word verification things are so stupid!!! UGH. I usually have to try at least twice before I get it right. What the fuzz indeed.
Ooh-- if you want, you can turn off your word verification and be cool like me! :) (I didn't know you could take it off your blog, my friend told me after she kept getting annoyed)

I am with you! And I feel like recently the words are getting hard to decifer.
No, its just you they bug me too! They are so hard to read, and I really don't think they serve any purpose.
