Since many of my friends have recently had babies or are currently pregnant, and have asked me to help them decorate their nurseries, I decided to post a few pictures of my favorite rooms!
This is my very favorite room! I love the brightness and the wall decor. You can find this at pottery barn kids!

Another fav! I love the cluster of paper lanterns above the crib!
Isn't this room so bright and funky? I love the white pom pom trim on the window treatment! I also love the horizontal stripes on the wall!
This first room isn't necessarily my favorite as far as the decorating goes (it's a little too frou frou for me), but I did like the diamond pattern painted on the walls.

It took me awhile to realize that said pom pom not porn porn.
I have used paper laterns in both of my nurseries. Boston has soccerball laterns above his bed and I have a tall floor lamp one for Scarlett's room. Her room is pink and red, I like the stripes idea.
Love love love that pink & orange room! How fun! And the first one is super cute too! And the paper laterns! You have such great taste! Dangit, this makes me wish I owned my own house so I could paint the walls!
So cute! I wish this little one was getting a nursery.. It would be fun!
I wish I was having a baby! J K!!!!
love the black and yellow!
That last one reminds me of a scary movie. :(
I love the yellow/black/white option....looks so clean and crisp! You have such great taste!
Now, if only I had a baby...
I like to think the progression goes as follows: house plant, dog/cat, children. Still at the house plant stage (and some of them aren't doing so well) Maybe I better stick to drooling over your design ideas...
I LOVE the first pic. It would be great for a boy or a girl! So so cute. It was so fun doing Sydney's nursery. We went all out with the super-girly green & pink, with white furniture. I know, not too creative, but it still turned out cute! Have fun helping your friends! That is such a fun project!
*SiGH* Sorry to those above... I AM having a baby and I am SOOO lucky to have Shannon to help me. Don't worry, we will document. (How should I pay her? Peanuts, private dancers, or the real deal :-))
