I recently found this chair at D.I. and thought it had potential! Yes, it was hard to see past the bright red mohair fabric and the gold details, but with some sanding, a fresh coat of paint, and a new seat, I thought it would be lovely!
I painted it pale blue, but I'm having a hard time deciding on a fabric for the seat.
This is where you come in! There are four choices below. After you look at them, vote on the right side of my blog and tell me which you love the best!
(Keep in mind, the chair cushion will be fuller after I add more foam and there will be no wrinkles. This is just to get an idea!)

I really like all of them, but I went for the yellow as well, cause it's a fun splash of color, and I think every space needs a little of that. Good luck!
I deffo like #2 and #4 best. If I *had* to choose, I'd go for #2 because it's bolder. But I soooooooo love toile as well!! Decisions, decisions.

Good Eye Girl! My vote was for the toile. I also loved the yellow stripe but I think if you go with #4 print, it is more versatile if you like to change up the looks of your rooms a lot (like me).

I have to vote for the yellow stripes, just because blue+yellow is one of my favorite color combinations. I have it everywhere in my house! :) All those fabrics are wonderful though... whatever you decide will look fabulous!

Wow Shan. So THAT is how you get 34+ comments -- make it a competition! :) Well, I just wanted to say that I love the black & white print. It won't compete with the blue (like the yellow kinda does), it is more interesting than the white matelasse, and although I like the toile, I have the same fabric on some throw pillows -- so personally I am tired of it! :) So, my (long-winded) vote is chair #2!!
