We made this recipe last year from the same recipe - though I have to admit I don't think it was from your blog. However, we made our batch in the spring and it lasted more than into December. Not hard to make at all - but makes a lot of dust from all the powders when you mix it. I found that its easy to pour all the ingredients into a HEAVY duty trash bag, tie it in a knot and then pull it from all sides to mix all the ingredients together. I then get my container - and cut a small corner off of the bag to pour it into our container. Easy breezy.

How does the price of this compare to the price of buying normal laundry soap? Is this way cheaper?
Can you use it in a front loader where they say use the special HD or whatever soap? Or is it only for top loaders?
